Distract monsters by casting spells. Sneak by them to escape the dungeon! Explore secret passages and winding corridors but don't get trapped!

This is our entry in the game jam Trijam #152. There is a 3 hour time goal but we ended up taking around 4 hours. Currently the game is very short, but we might expand it in the future.

Synopsis

As an apprentice wizard, you don't know too many spells. After being trapped in a dungeon by the evil archwizard, you think all hope is lost. But then you find an old spell book, labelled "Livmialon". Perhaps the spells depicted inside will make the monsters of the dungeon leave you alone and help you escape...

I like the update a lot!
The intro that you added helps a great deal when it comes to understanding the game. The first time I played it during the jam it was hard but now the game was really easy to grasp.

You fixed a lot of bugs which is nice, I love how the game feels smooth now and I like that you added the roguelike features like the fog of war as it makes the game more interesting.

I think you can play around a bit with the difficulty as I didn't feel like it was that difficult now, my mana never ran out and I could just take my time around the level. I have no roguelike experience before this so I don't know how other games do it.

Other than that you can add more content, more levels, or perhaps you unlock new spells over time?

Cool game, I enjoyed it!

Thank you! I'm glad that you enjoyed the update and really appreciate the feedback.

I agree about the difficulty. We didn't want it to be too hard right in the beginning for new players, but I do agree it is very easy once you get the hang of it. I'll start thinking about some ways that I could ramp up the difficulty, especially as you progress through the game.

We are definitely interested in adding more content like you mentioned. More levels for sure, and I like the idea of unlocking new spells over time. More enemy types and hazards within the levels is a possibility as well. Keep an eye out for future updates!

Thanks again for your comment and playthrough!

How many people worked on this game because it is really cool for only 4 hours and definitely has potential for full release.

Thank you! 2 people worked on it, and we would definitely like to polish it up and see where it goes.
